Buspar.
BuSpar (buspirone) is often recommended for the treatment of anxiety disorders; it can also be prescribed for short-term management of anxiety. Before you feel the full effects of BuSpar, it may need to be taken for several weeks in a row without missing doses. If you happened to miss a dose – take the next one and avoid taking a double dose. You are not going to benefit from your treatment more if you take a larger dose, as an overdose can result from that. The following symptoms of an overdose are possible and will need to be reported to your local emergency center: dizziness, upset stomach, vomiting, drowsiness, and blurred vision. BuSpar can sometimes cause side effects that impair your reactions and alertness. Make sure you are aware of all the effects this drug has on you before getting engaged into any activities that require you to be alert and concentrated. The following side effects are possible: difficulty sleeping, headache, diarrhea, nervousness, upset stomach, fatigue, weakness, lightheadedness, excitement, vomiting, drowsiness, stomach pain, dry mouth, constipation, and depression. Report to your health care provider any other side effects that seem dangerous.
